Meet Jovie
Hi, I’m Jovie. Think of me as your Menopause Navigator and co-pilot—here to educate, advocate, and help you find clarity during a time that can often feel confusing and isolating.
For more than 35 years as a nurse and over 30 years as a Nurse Practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of caring for women from all walks of life. I understand how important it is to feel seen, heard, validated, and supported—and to have the time and education you need to understand your options.
My goal is to help you navigate menopause from confusion to clarity, with the knowledge and confidence to become the CEO of your health. You remain at the center of your healthcare journey; I’m here beside you as your navigator and co-pilot.
You don’t have to navigate menopause alone.
My Medication is Education.

My journey into menopause care is both professional and personal.
For more than 35 years as a nurse and over 30 years as a Nurse Practitioner, I have cared for women from all walks of life, including underserved communities. I witnessed firsthand the impact of healthcare disparities—patients feeling dismissed, unheard, or without the resources they needed. I also saw how education, compassion, and meaningful connection could empower patients to find their voice, participate in their care, and become confident advocates for their health.
Then menopause became personal.
Despite decades of experience in women's healthcare, I found myself searching for answers, resources, and the time needed to understand what was happening to me. I felt confused and isolated. It was an eye-opening realization: if I could feel this way with my healthcare background, how many other women were experiencing the same thing?
My experience led me to recognize that women navigating menopause have long been an underserved population—regardless of race, education, financial status, or background. Too many women have
had their symptoms dismissed, their concerns minimized, or lacked access to the
evidence-based education and resources they need to make informed decisions
about their health.
That realization became my next chapter and fueled my mission.
Today, my mission is to educate, advocate, and empower women with the knowledge
and confidence to become the CEO of their health and navigate menopause from
confusion to clarity.
I also believe optimizing women's health takes a village. Through a patient-centered,
multidisciplinary, and holistic approach, I collaborate with primary care providers and
other trusted healthcare specialists to support coordinated care—not fragmented
care. Together, we look beyond individual symptoms, consider the whole person, and support each woman's
overall health and well-being.
Beyond my work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, enjoying water sports, and reconnecting with nature. Those moments keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, wellness, and living life fully—values I strive to bring to every woman I have the privilege to serve.
